Source hierarchy

• Federal and state agency sources first: OSHA, SC OSHA, SC LLR, SCDES, the adopted South Carolina Fire Code, and county and city offices
• Manufacturer and industry-standard documentation second: truck manufacturers, component makers, and standards bodies such as ANSI/ITSDF
• Commercial or vendor surveys only with their publication date, scope, and commercial interest disclosed alongside the figure
• Competitor marketing pages: never used as a factual basis

Verification dates

Load-bearing facts carry a checked date. Dates change only when the source is materially rechecked — not on cosmetic edits — so a date on this site means someone actually looked on that day. The current ledger is published at the resources hub.

Corrections
