Privacy Policy
This policy describes what Greenville SC Forklift Repair (https://greenvillescforkliftrepair.com) actually collects and does — only the systems really running on this site are described below. Last updated July 29, 2026.
What the request form collects
The service-request form collects name, company, phone, city or ZIP, and the service selections you make, plus optional fields you choose to fill (email, make and model, serial number, hour meter, site address, attachment, error code, access notes, description). Alongside the form, the site records request attribution: the landing page, the submitting page path, the referrer, UTM parameters, and click identifiers (gclid, msclkid) when present, plus your browser’s user-agent string and the consent text version you accepted.
Where it is stored
Requests are stored in a PostgreSQL database provisioned through Replit, the platform hosting this site. Rate-limiting data is stored as a salted one-way hash of the requesting IP address; the raw IP is not stored.
Request sharing
Submitted requests may be shared with one or more third-party service providers so they can evaluate and respond — that is the purpose of the site, and this policy makes no no-sharing claim. This website may be compensated when a request is shared with or completed by a third-party provider.
Notifications
When a request is submitted, a push notification may be sent to the publisher through ntfy containing the request category details (service needed, equipment, power type, symptom, status, timeline, city or ZIP, and an internal ID). Contact details are excluded from these notifications by default; email, street address, serial number, error codes, access notes, and free-text descriptions are never included in them.
Analytics
- Google Analytics 4 measures page views and interaction events (such as phone-link clicks and form submissions). Events contain no names, phone numbers, or other personal details.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymized interaction patterns (scrolling, clicks) to improve the site.
Cookies and storage
The site uses browser sessionStorage to remember first-touch attribution (the page you landed on and its UTM parameters) for the duration of a browsing session. Analytics tools listed above set their own cookies or identifiers per their documentation.
Security and retention
Requests are transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the publisher and the platform operating the database. Requests are retained while they remain useful for routing and record-keeping and are deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Your choices
- You can call instead of submitting the form
- You can leave every optional field blank
- You can request a copy or deletion of your submitted request via the contact page
